Reduced Weight, Greater Riding Feel

The MTB rims on these wheels have been totally revamped. They have been made lighter and toughened at every required point, resulting in reduced weight and a better-quality riding feel.

Lightweight and Strong

The hub's body is constructed solely of aluminium which combined with an outsized axle improves both the power transfer activity and the reactions while the sealed bearings help endure the effects of use over time. The 20mm axle is exceptionally lightweight, strong and improves steering precision.

Shock Absorption

If you need to use a different adapter, no problem, they can be fitted very simply to allow these MTB wheels to be fitted to any frame size and the shimmering straight pull spokes were built to sustain torsional firmness and provide appropriate shock absorption.

To ensure the best performance and reliability of its products, each project, before going in the production stage, must be submitted to a series of severe tests that validate what has been conceived and designed up to that moment (fatigue test, crash test, tyre burst test, environment test, 100% manually assembled and electronically checked). This is why, from its 2012 range, Fulcrum® wanted to supply each wheel with its own identity card (F.I.C.) which uniquely identifies the wheel and certifies that it has been manually assembled and has passed all tests required by the strict quality protocol.

AFS Axle System™: The Axial Fixing System™ is the solution developed by Fulcrum® to fix the disc brake to the hub. The constraint granted by the butt area of the release mechanism, greater than in familiar standard ones, makes it possible to obtain greater structural rigidity and therefore more precise and powerful braking. The availability of the International Standard option ensures full compatibility of Fulcrum® wheels even with the most widespread braking systems that use this assembly plan.
